Hana Beaman and Gretchen Bleiler win at the Burton Abominable Snow Jam
There's been a small lull in snowboard contests with this little thing called 'summer' getting in the way. But Burton won't let us forget about snowboarding - the Burton Abominable Snow Jam has been taking place over the last three days at Mt. Hood, Oregon, and next month we've got the Burton New Zealand Open to look forward to. The results are in from the Snow Jam and in the half pipe, Gretchen Bleiler took first, followed closely by Kelly Clark and Claire Bidez, who also won best trick for her frontside 900!
In the Quarter pipe, Hana Beaman rode into first place, with Japanese rider Yuki Furihata in second and Kelly Clark in third. Third must be lucky as Kelly Clark also won the highest air contest and took home a 2008 Polaris 600 RMK Snowmobile. Nice one!
