Electric_eg5_snowboard_goggleImage: 07/08 Electric EG.5 - as lovely as they are, try not to buy them without trying them on!

You could just find a pair you like the look of, order them and be done with it, but on the mountain, seeing where you're going is usually quite important (just ask the person with poor goggles who didn't see the gully in front of them and fell down it), so a little prior preparation can help you see clearly all season long...

1. Try them on. Sounds simple, but only then will you know if they're right for you, and only then can you determine the following...
2. Can you see out of them? If you can't, or you have obscured vision, don't buy them. Although there's one clever man who can snowboard blind, generally, being blind is no fun...

3. Do they fit with your helmet? If not, you'll be back to the shop for a new helmet or new goggles. Kinda expensive.
4. Do they have suitable lenses for where you're going to be riding? Buying a pair of lenses for low visibility if you're going to ride somewhere that's more often than not sunny is gonna leave you squinting.

Now you can find a pair you like the look of!
