The Roxy Jam Honolulu took place between the 23 - 25th of August, at the Duke's OceanFest Hawaii. California longboarding veteran Julie Whitegon, 42, took first place in the final ahead of 14-year-old Hawaiian Kelia Moniz. Third and fourth places went to Lindsay Steinriede, also from California, and Crystal Dzigas of Honolulu. The Schick Quattra For Women Style Award was awarded to Kauai surfer Maikalani Martinez, who took home a cool US$3000 for her classic longboarding style.
