I was in Fernie for the season last year, and although for the most part it was pretty quiet, this weekend pow day was the exception. Practically everywhere else on the mountain was tracked out, and Currie bowl, full of freshies, was only just opening. Obviously untouched powder in the middle of the day attracts quite a crowd - there's probably over 150 people trying to get their bit of the 25cms of fresh all at once. I'm in there somewhere, but the best part of this video is the commentary by the filmer, worth watching just to hear him say 'carnage, retarded carnage....get some, get some'.
