No sooner was the final seeding list for next year's Women's WCT tour announced, former world champion Chelsea Hedges has dropped out to have her first child. Melanie Redman-Carr is also currently absent to have her first child, so it is expected that the first two stand-ins, Claire Bevilacqua and Laurina McGrath, will take their places for the time being.
Julia Christian will also join the tour this year as the wildcard entrant.
