You have to get down to Manchester this weekend; as well as actionsports tradeshows Slide taking place in the city's Central conference and exhibition centre, a Girl's Only skate jam has been organised at Projekts Skatepark, underneath Mancunian Way on the A6.
To celebrate International Women's Day, the free event takes place from 11am to 1pm, with £300, £200, and £100 cash prizes, plus product from Independent Trucks and more to be given away. There's also free Girls Only coaching from 11am to 2pm.
