Thor may have been unleashing his untimely wrath on Vail, Colorado, last Friday, but a few storms couldn't stop two of snowboarding's finest she-jibbers showing off their skills at the Honda Sky and Steel Session.
Wind and storms forced most of the mountain to close, Thursday's practice was cancelled and the highway was closed in both directions. But rider's arrived just in time for Friday night's rail jam - which, for some reason, is the only event open to women in the entire Honda Session at Vail event.

One of the most creative park comps in the US calendar, the Sky and Steel Session requires riders to be creative, making full use of the various jibs, rails, boxes and hits littered across the course - including a skate style bowl covered in snow.
At 6pm the girl's comp kicked off, and, by choosing lines that covered as much of the course as possible, it was clearly a two (wo)man race - between Billabong's Tahoe hot shot Jamie Anderson, currently number one on the Women's TTR rankings, and Mammoth local and Burton shred Molly Aguirre.
Over an hour long jam session, split into three 15 minute intervals, riders were awarded cash for the best tricks; the rider with the most money at the end of the session wins.
Molly may have started slow, but with second best trick in the second interval, then top trick in the final two, then best trick overall - dubbed the Malay Factor, she nabbed $6,500 - and narrowly beat Jamie to the top spot, who, despite being all over the park, came short, winning $4,550.
Gabi Viteri also stepped up by going huge on the hip, while Breckenridge's Leslie Glenn and Japan's Izume Akaime also impressed by coming joint third.
