Travis Rice wins Quiksilver Natural Selection!

For the last week Nollie has been in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for possibly the best week of lives: watching the inaugural Quiksilver Natural Selection comp, masterminded by local lad Travis Rice - who then went on to win his own contest.

Ok, so there may not have been any ladies invited to enter, but something this huge we just couldn't miss...

After a week's holding period, waiting for the best conditions, ala surf contests, this first of a kind event, blended freestyle skill on all natural freeride terrain. With a superstar rider line up, the first day took place on Saturday February 2nd, in Dick's Ditch. The second part of the contest then took place on Wednesday 6th, in Casper Bowl, under blue skies after snow storms all week, filling the bowl with neck high powder - which had been protected from poachers for three weeks before.

Log back on tomorrow for our full report of the entire event - both the pow and the parties!

To watch videos of the comp and more log on to www.quiksilver.com/naturalselection.
