The Slopestyle event of The Roxy Chicken Jam, at Mammoth Mountain, USA has been postponed until today - Monday March 31st. The final event in the Swatch TTR Women's World Snowboard Tour starts at 8.30am this morning - the results of which will decide the 2008 Champion.
With high winds and snowfall calling for Saturday's event to be rescheduled until Sunday, the weather didn't let up yesterday either and so the event will take place today, which, after yesterday's Superpipe championship, will decide this year's TTR champ.
After winning the Superpipe title, and $10 000 prize money, Kelly Clark is now second in the TTR rankings, so, if she enters Slopestyle today, could win the 2008 title. Kjersti Buass, who came third in pipe to take fourth in the rankings, and Jamie Anderson, currently third, are also in the running. However, having coming second in the superpipe, and already number one in the TTR rankings after her US Open success, Torah Bright is still the biggest contender to take the top spot. Cheryl Maas is also up for reaching the top five and nabbing some serious cash...
