If Ullr was a girl finalists announced

Set up to celebrate the 'woman of mountain culture', the 2008 If ULLr was A Girl contest changed format this year; entrants still had to build up a profile and sell themselves online, but then selected wild card winners would then go on to show their sills in reality via a big finale contest at the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival this week, April 11 to 20 in Whistler BC.

With a mix of established North American Pros and amazing Amateurs, the event should be pretty exciting - for example one of two wildcard amateur snowboard winners is talented hot shot Caley (pronounced as in California) Vanular. At just 17, this Whistler native has already been on the shred scene for ten years - check out this Ripper Of the Week interview with her courtesy of our friends over a Rip.TV to find out exactly why we'll be watching her...
