Video: The Happening in Bondi Beach, Australia

The_happening

Ok, so I know it happened a month a go, i.e. March 14, but The Happening - a celebration of art, music, surf and skate - in Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia still looked awesome. So I was stoked to find this video courtesy of PodSurf.TV, Roxy and Quiksilver, on YouTube capturing the event. Starring possibly super cool and multi talented Roxy professional surfer Kassia Meador as she chats up aka interviews some of the artists (Andrew Kidman, Alex Knost and Alex Kopps), photographers (Ryan Heywood) and musicians (including Jack Johnson and Matt Costa) throughout the event. And all the proceeds went to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

You can also download the HD version from Podsurf.TV.

The next Happening has just taken place in Tokyo, Japan (on April 11), with the UK event rolling into Cornwall on July 4. I'll have more info on where this is taking place soon... So stoked looking forward to it!

Please let us know when you find out where the Cornwall event is being held. I heard a rumour about it maybe being The Eden Project but can't find anything out on the website. Really looking forward to this.
