Ever wanted to get away from it all with seven stress free days of chill time? Then restore the balance with Zen Week in the gorgeous mountain resort of La Plagne.
From July 21 to 25 in the alpine village of Montchavin-Les Coches, you can experience a week of me time with massages and the oriental arts of Tai Ji Quan and 'Do-In' (pronounced Daoyin, Dao-In and Tao-In) - a self help massage therapy, encorporating Shiatsu and Acupressure with stretches, exercises, breathing plus mediation techniques. A traditional Chinese 'higher level treatment' it's reputed to maintain health, boost or immune system and even slow the ageing process.
There will also be aqua aerobics, singing plus other outlets for your untapped creativity - including making scrap books, travel journals, brazilian bracelet making and decorating picture frames.
In addition to these Eastern insights, you can also enjoy the great outdoors - feeding the sheep, goats and ewes on the local alpine pastures. Once you've exhausted all the day's options you can then sit back in luxury chaise lounges and take in the serene Japanese Gardens - which will be randomly sprinkled throughout Montachavin les Choches especially for Zen Week.
The cost of each activity is 10 euros, plus with each paying adult kids 13 and under go free.
