Are you sunburnt on this splendid Monday morning by any chance? With the early english summer making a surprising turn to the scorching, I'm starting to obsess over road trips and surfing whilst the water's warm. Although my wardrobe is failing to inspire in the same way as my travel plans. So when I was sent details of Billabong's Limited Edition Road Trippen second Summer 08 collection - available to buy online now and influenced by Pro Riders Rebecca Woods, Silvana Lima and freesurfer / actress Sanoe Lake (the smiling blonde above) - my credit card started to itch...

Here's how they describe it:

The Billabong Girls Summer 08 Limited Edition collection tells the story of a well travelled, free
spirited young female who’s bohemian existence means she is experienced at packing light
with style for summer adventures.

A perfect capsule summer wardrobe the collection embraces true beach culture and includes
everything you would need for either hanging out on the beach at your favourite tropical
location or festival this summer.

The limited edition collection also includes the International Athlete Series which features 2 bikini styles the Keala and Hang Loose. I'm especially loving the monochrome water ink print cut out pattern, seen in the Spray swimsuit (number 1) and matching Roxanne shorts (4). If you're feeling brave the ink print Passion pink bikini (2) and matching Roxanne shorts (3) are a sure fire attention grabber too.

Other items in the line include the Off Shore beach bag (5), which comes with a matching print beach towel, in addition to it's sister beach bag the Pipeline. The Venice Bikini (6) is also a stand out as is the Moonstar Bikini (7) and matching Cruz hoody (8).

With a well travelled feel, the tropics also have an influence - especially on Billabong's Ladies dresses: the Love Me Indian Print Baby doll (9) (and I am crushing) and the Blythe hippie dress are perfect for balmy nights post beach. Co-ordination seems to be a huge theme as well with the smae all over screen print appearing on the Kasbah flip flops (10) and Casablanca large handbag (11). The tomboy charm of the Chelsea makes it a pretty covetable sun hat too.... which I'm determined to get my mitts on.

There is also a Billabong Girl's Days Special Edition collection - two special edition ikinis, two board short styles, sweat, vest, rash vest and flips flops all created especially for this summer's tour. Available excusilvey through Billabong stores worldwide they'd be the perfect pre packing purchase before the Woolacombe stop on July 12 and 13.
