Last month Roxy launched their gorgeous coffee table book Surf Girl Roxy at the Gibson Guitar Centre in London with an awesome party, where we entertained by Ebony Bones and Spanners, then wowed by prints from the book on the walls. Filled with stories from Roxy's legendary female surf team - Lisa Anderson, Chelsea Georgeson, Kassia Meador and Sofia Mulanovich - from the early days of the brand, their love for surfing, competiting and today, their anecodotes are accompanied by lush photos from their entire archive, with locations across the globe. Personally, many of these hold a real nostlagia for me - after family holdays to Cornwall, I used to buy surf mags as a kid, tear out the Roxy ads and blue tack them to my wall, dreaming of the day I'd be able to surf while stuck in a London suburb.
