Silvana Lima has lived up to the hype and won her first WQS title at the Billabong Surf ECO Festival on Saturday plus £4000. The Brazilian beat current WQS number one, Aussie super grom Sally Fitzgibbons, who won £2000, in a heated final at the Praia do Forte, north of Bahia, event as the waves picked up from 4 to 8.5 feet in the last few seconds of the heat. Men's number 4, fellow Brazilian Adriano de Souza, then went on to win the male event after a tough final heat on Sunday.
