Fresh from their headline performance at Billabong's Design For Humanity event (full report coming soon!) MGMT are confirmed as going stellar both in the US and UK. Album Oracular Spectacular is currently on constant rotation of the Nollie shuffle and I heart this duo from Brooklyn, New York, muchly.

And why? They love the sea (check out their MySpace influences box) plus their combination of 80s synths, glitter ball disco, nu rave experimentalism and huge pop hooks are just the right side of art pretention - hence singles Electric Feel, Time to Pretend and The Youth are guaranteed indie disco floor fillers across the globe. Plus, with their squelchy quirkiness expect to see them on a lot of snowboard movie soundtracks next season.

With tour dates and festival gigs across Europe (including Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading and Leeds) you're bound to fall for them too soon; keep reading to watch and download videos to find out why...

Directed by Ray Tintori, edited by Jordan Fish, then produced by Josh Penn, you can watch the Jim Henson Labrynth style video for new single Electric Feel on YouTube in low and hi res
on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtUI5MC9tVM or download the interactive versions.

You can also download the trippy 3D vid for Time to Pretend on http://court13.com/TimeToPretend_480.mov plus an interactive game on http://whoismgmt.com/efvideo/.

Now that is a generous band!
