The Rip Curl Boardmasters, Europe's biggest surf, skate, BMX and music festival, is back at Fistral Beach in Newquay from August 4th to 10th - in association with Relentless. Now, in addition to seeing the world's best surfers compete in the 5 star Women's and Men's World Qualifying Series taking place over the week, with a prize purse of $100 000, you can now watch the Vans Summer Session - an equally huge skateboard comp with a total prize purse of $20 000.
But that's not all: in addition to the awesome day time action, the Beach Sessions are back at the Boardmasters with live performances from The Pigeon Detectives, Enter Shikari, Seasick Steve and The Cuban Brothers. Then, to top off your weekend, the Rip Curl Boardmasters Unleashed Festival will take place at nearby Watergate Bay with Groove Armada, Audio Bullys, The Pigeon Detectives, Futureheads, Gallows and much more.
The Rip Curl Girls Tour is taking place this weekend too - so you won't just be watching the waves; you'll be riding them too.
