One of the best, and most impressive, ladies-only events in the UK, the Girl Skate Jam UK is set to bring nother cracker to St Albans' Pioneer Skate Park this weekend on Saturday June 14th from 1pm to 6pm - before the ladies make a quick getaway to join the day's other skateboard event at NASS for the 10.30pm girls comp, and post event party.
Judges were announced today as Mat Lloyd, also MCing, and Gary Milne of Hemel Skates and Discipline Skateboards. Sponsors have also been confirmed with the final list standing at Vans, Nikita, Eastpak, Rockstar Bearings, Indy Trucks, Pro Tec, Creme, Conspiracy Skate Shop and Rogue Skateboards, who'll be giving out prizes and cash to the top female mini ramp and street skaters of the day. It costs a tiddly £5 to skate and £2 to watch, so if you're in the area you've no excuses - go get involved!
