On tour with Radiohead this summer, Brighton's finest female Bat For Lashes is about to release her as-yet-untitled second album - after 'writing many songs, visiting the awe inspiring Joshua Tree desert, making films and, living in Brooklyn, New York,' where she's been soaking up from locals Amazing Baby, Gang Gang Dance, Moon and Moon, Lewis and Clarke, Caroline Weeks and Bon Iver.
As a teaser she's released a cover of The Cure song A Forest - taken off Perfect As Cats: A Tribute To The Cure which also features Kaki King, Army Navy and The Dandy Warhols, released on October 23rd to raise money for Invisible Children, a charity to help the children of Northern Uganda.
