Snow: Anne-Flore Marxer off Burton! And at Fiat Freestyle camp Saas Fee

Pro snowboarder Anne-Flore Marxer has taken a break from her summer home and surfing in Hossegor, France to get back to the mountains, as a coach on Fiat's Freestyle Camp in Saas Fee, Switzerland with fellow Fiat rider Romain de Marchi. But the big news is that AFM is no longer riding for Burton; when her contract came to an end she chose not to renew; in her words she's a "relieved free agent" and "still riding and enjoying snowboarding more then ever...."

Details of any new sponsors are being negotiated, but, after her epic performance in Oakley's upcoming movie Uniquely, I'm willing to bet a large wad of cash that she'll follow in Gretchen Bleiler's footsteps and sign up to rock their outwear as well as goggles. But boards, boots and bindings? Who knows - except that whoever nabs the Swiss ripper will have made an attractive investment indeed....
