The most exciting snow and winter sports festival to come to the capital, the Freesports On 4 London Freeze, sponsored by LG, will be taking over Battersea Park, London, in just a week! From Thursday October 23 to Sunday October 26, some of the finest freestyle athletes on the globe will be gathering in our snow less city to show off their skills by flying off an immense, especially constructed kicker - in addition music from Cypress Hill, The Enemy, Annie Mac, Sway, Trouble Andrew, The Cuban Brothers, The Holloways and loads more.
Things kick off with a FIS British Champs on Thursday, and International Ski Big Air comp on Friday with $25,000 cash prize, then the LG London Big Air and FIS World Cup Snowboard Big Air on Saturday, closing with the Battle Of Battersea - a best of British snowboard & free ski comp.
It's all a bit macho soaked with stars like Danny Kass, Antti Autti, Hampus Mossesson, Scotty Lago for snowboard, Tanner Hall, Sammy Carlson, Jon Olson and Jacob Wester for ski (Jenny Jones is apparently the only female in the entire weekend, riding at Sunday's Battle) but this should still be an epic weekend. Plus, there's a ton of live music acts at the huge Kayam tent, the Relentless Blizzard Bar and a Resort style 'High Street' where you can pick up new season kit.
