"Do women belong in the kitchen or the barrel?" Jessi Miley-Dyer asks on Surfline. It's a question she asked herself on a girly surfari of Mirconesia, after a season on the intensely testosterone soaked North Shore of Hawaii. The Aussie ripper teams up with friends Stephanie Gilmore, Karina Petroni, -mum-to-be Chelsea Georges and Leilana Gryde to explore the tropical paradise, get some sick shots and shoot down old-school cliches with her fierce female friends...

It's a pretty impressive piece, articulate and well thought out, but it does make me a bit green with envy over her idealistic life; I'd put up with a few wolf whistles if I was paid to traipse around tropical islands too...
