The Rome Lo-Fi: the best female specific snowboard ever?
If you're stroking your chin about which snowboard to purchase this winter then stop: the Lo-Fi from Rome is an incredible all mountain freestyle board that's been labelled the finest female stick ever. Honed by superstar Rome pro snowboard Marie France Roy, the Lo-Fi fills the gap between the maverick manufacturer's jib specific Detail and the stiffer powder / pipe slayer Blue, for multi-dimensional, flexible in all terrain friend.
A true twin, for fun switch riding (and landing) here's what Rome say:
Roll into a park these days. Women riders are lining up to hit the big jump lines and lay down their personal styles on the jib lines. The same is true in the backcountry—riders like MFR are delivering next-level footage off kickers and natural drops. The Lo-Fi is a new series from the SDS for this type of rider. Defining its feel, a smooth flex profile balances the softness needed for rails with the support needed for landing big jumps. Carbon in the tip and tail give it pop in both directions.
Trust us - this one's a keeper.
