Winter 2008 / 2009 may have just started, but the snow industry is already gazing into their collective crystal balls to predict trends for next season. Transworld Business are the first: they've got their hands on a huge collection of next winter's snowboard pants and jackets, showcasing the collections online.
Nike Snowboarding's (1) efforts stand out the most. The swoosh's 2010 outerwear is surprisingly stylish, with progressive, fashion influenced cuts and a bright-but-tasteful colour palette. Oakley (5)'s symmetrical jacket and practical dungarees (but white?!?) are not far behind. Also look out for Roxy's (6) cute button up sets and Westbeach's street influence. It looks like the Marc Jacobs-esque style of Holden is now being ripped off by the entire industry. Not surprising that the connoiseur's outerwear brand are keeping next season's gear secret... for now.
Patterns are still big news this winter (686 Mannual Aurora Jacket (2), and the Special Blend Avalon jacket (3) with Justice pants). But are these psychedelic colour clashes more sickly than stylish?
