Ok, so I'm all about Roxy today, but when their putting podcasts this gorgeous can you blame me? Here's the second from their surf team (Leanne Curren, Kassia Meador, Jen Smith, Sally Fitzgibbons and the UK's Candice O'Donnell) escapade on the East Coast of Australia, as the longboard ladies get spoilt with perfect conditions. As I type this in a ski resort, while rain lashes down melting all the snow, the idea of the simple life surfing down under sounds incredible...
“We decided to pack up our stuff and check out of the campsite to head
back on the road, with yet another very early start having heard of
swell up the coast. We made an executive decision to stop and check
into a campsite ASAP," recalls Candice
"To our surprise we found a mini Mundaka, with
some perfect nose riding conditions for those of us with longboards.
Jen, Kass and I were just gagging to get out there on those magical
left hand peelers."

"While the short boarder girls surfed the right, the left was just pure magic, with glassy conditions, friendly locals, and loads of waves for everyone. Eventually LeeAnne and Lyndsay joined on the longboard fun and Kass jumped up on her Stand Up Paddle. We were having so many “party waves” and it was non stop smiles and laughs.
"This is exactly what this road trip is all about, driving on the road in search of perfect surf, with the most stylish crew of surfer girls and crazy good photographers and videographers to document the whole journey. The day finished with us all getting out of the water with big grins on our faces and spaghetti arms. We decided to stay in this area for a few more days and surf the spots that we had found, especially knowing that the swell was picking up here and the conditions would give us some barrels in the morning.” -- Candice O’Donnell
