Ok I'm utterly biased, but could Brandon Boyd be any more perfect? Not only the soulful frontman of Incubus, he's also an exhibited artist, published author, social activist and accomplised surfer. His latest project is the Collaborative Canvas Collection for TOMS shoes, with fellow Los Angeles creative Kristin Jai Klosterman, which wrapped last month

After painting on canvases taped to the floor for four days, the pairs work was then shipped to Venice beach, cut into strips to make the material for the shoes, then shaped, moulded and glues to create the fabric for these one of a kind, footwear. Inspirational and conscious, also, for each shoe you buy, TOMS give another away to disadvantaged children worldwide.

This latest very limited edition TOMS Shoes collection was then launched at Undefeated, in Silverlake, California, on September 25, where early bird purchasers could snap up some unique Boyd and Klosterman created art to clothe their feet - or not.

Keep reading to see a selection of videos behind the scenes of the event plus interviews with Brandon and Kristin... although sadly, right now, they're only available in selected shops Los Angeles. Boo!
