Penfield new collection of down jackets for winter 09/10
Love or loathe it, winter now has it's chilly grip on the northern hemisphere. But, while yes, I too sorely miss the sun and it's energising rays, it ain't all bad - cold weather means you can wear several of your favourite clothes at once, and snuggle standing up in a comforting coat.

Penfield began in 1975 in Massachusetts, making workwear to combat the harsh New England climate. Since then the brand's established as makers of some of the finest down jackets, fleece and outerwear - with a fine tooth comb attention to detail and a slab of style nous.
With dedicated women's fits and colourways (in addition to the original men's line), this winter's collection uses modern technologies, but with a nod to retro classic coats of the past, and will guarantee to keep out the cold.
