While the grey metropolis of London came to a stand still this Christmas, after being smothered in snow, yours truly avoided the cold by having my best new ever: surfing in hippy-vibed, sun-soaked Tagazhout, Morocco - thanks to the hospitable and passionate folks at Surf Maroc.
Now back in the soggy city, I'm itching to return to the perma-warm, fishing village. Thankfully London travel company Big Friday are hosting Surf Sistas Morocco - a boutique surf camp for girls - from February 28 to March 7, so I need not wait long. Plus, they're currently offering an early bird discount - but hurry, it's about to end!
A more luxurious, all-female week of surfing, pampering and pilates, Surf Sistas Morocco is open to complete beginners to more experienced surfers looking to improve. Led by Head Coach Natalie Fox, coaching is tailored to your ability, with guides on hand all day to take you to the best surf spots - including neighbouring Banana Point, Onze and Douze to the South, with beach breaks Devils Rock and Crocodiles a few kilometres North and more.
Accommodation is in twin rooms at the rather posh beach side Villa Mandala - complete with pool and private Hammam (like a sauna) - with evening cocktails, dips and dinner all included.

Plus, to fully prepare your muscles for a day in the waves, Body Control Pilates instructor Amy Swanson will hold daily morning sessions in the villa's sea view, roof-top studio. And, with sponsorship from Oakley, expect to get some new sunnies and more as a bonus.
The week usually costs £599, but for a very limited time early birds can get a discount of £100, including: airport transfers to Agadir Airport; seven nights accommodation; breakfast, lunch and dinner with wine; daily beach transfers, surf tuition and pilates sessions; plus a shopping trip to the Agadir Souk.
