Always super creative, Volcom Swim have made a genius 60s sci fi-inspired mini movie to promote their 2010 bikini collection - including one gorgeous, girl-crush worthy model, aka Gemini Leasure.

The return of Volcom's Miss Mod, for spring they've looked to the designer trend for vintage space glam - think Little Boots  crossed with Emma Peel, on holiday in Hawaii. Or, as they've described it 'rock and roll vs. fun in the sun'. Watch the video after the jump...

In jewel colours, monochrome stripes, crystallised and glowing constellation prints, there's some pretty covetable pieces in there spring swim collection - from vintage-inspired bikini shapes to cut out one-pieces and some attention-grabbing rash vests (I'm so buying the Lite Night Thrashguard).

With a trend savvy-design team, Volcom have realised how bland the usual pink or floral offerings are for women - while men's boardies are an art form in themselves. And it's not just flimsy strings -there's plenty of supportive tops: it's hard to retain some dignity post-wipe out anyway, without emerging from the water minus a slipped bikini but plus some serious nipple flashing...

Here's the mini movie too - but be prepared for some serious leg length envy:
