Happy Australia Day! Ok, a little late maybe, but the national holiday to celebrate all things antipodean is the perfect excuse to sing the praises of the latest collection from Nollie's favourite label: Something Else - now available at Urban Outfitters.
The personal project of Insight Creative Director Natalie Wood, Something Else is still surf inspired - but absorbs fashion, art, nature and music influences to birth beautiful yet edgy, wearable threads.
[Check out a plethora of pieces after the jump]
This season Natalie's indulged pop culture's current love for all things science fiction and fantasy - recalling the imagery of bands Klaxons, Animal Collective, Amazing Baby, MGMT and Empire Of the Sun. And so, for spring 2010, Something Else mixes galactic images with references to ancient mythology via the Egyptians, Aztecs and more - with some stunning signature prints.
Clothing with hyper-modern cultural reference? Natalie Wood's proved herself a genius again.
