After her gorgeous DVD Surf Into Yoga was released last autumn, made with Neu Productions, pioneering pro surfer and yoga instructor Rochelle Ballard is holding a luxury retreat in Hawaii - which promises to 'renew your soul, replenish the heart and restore your body'.
After retiring from seventeen years on the ASP world tour and one of the most progressive female big wave riders, Rochelle has taken a new approach to her career - living in Hawaii to focus on free surfing, yoga, environment and films. The Surf Into Yoga retreat is one such project: from April 18 to 25, the week aims to help you 'return to your innate sense of joy and freedom' and takes place in the grounds of a stunning private estate on the North Shore of Oahu.
Included are is 7 day / 6 night accommodation, twice daily yoga sessions, massage and spa treatments plus three meals a day from an organic chef. There's also surfing sessions with Rochelle and Stand Up Paddle boarding with fellow-professional surfer Megan Abubo, at the North Shore's classic Sunset Beach, catered for all abilities - including beginners.
A true once in a life time, rejuvenating experience, there's room for just 8 people initially to keep it exclusive, but also not cheap. One for the wishlist for sure!
