Superpost: Roxy Spring/Summer 2010 collections - US vs Europe

roxy_lookbook_spring_summer_2010_collections__US_versus_Europe.jpg

Roxy's Spring Summer 2010 collections are slowly trickling for sale online - they've also published part of the US Lookbook on Flickr too. But with items crafted to suit markets in different continents, it looks like there could be quite a difference between items sold stateside and in Europe.

Admittedly not everything is online yet, but it looks like each cross-atlantic photoshoot reflects the local style of their continent's HQ: the US is all laid-back chic with a 70s-leftover-hippy vibe (super Southern Californian); Europe is more 60s-influenced, feisty French Riviera glam - ala Biarritz.

But which do you prefer? I'm feeling the slicker, Sienna Miller-esque, more grown-up threads from our Cali cousins, but check out loads of pics then let us in know after the jump... beware: it's a big one!
First up - team USA:

The US outfits are beautiful! Chilled & chic & look super comfy too. The Euro ones are a bit confused and messy maybe?

why are the collections so totally different? I am from Europe and love the American collection, it's so much better... not comparable to the European one, which really looks a bit confused and messy...

Both the collections are nice but do prefer the American collection as it is just more wearable. I think the models are more realistic in the American collection too, I have never met any girl who surfs with hair like the Europe models!

The American Collection is really laid back and comfortable. The Europe collection seems a bit mixed-up, there are some pieces that are laid-back but there are some that seems a bit formal or classy. I prefer the American Collection because it suits the summer heat.

    Hello!
    I like the new collection!!
But I had a question to you:
Do you know from who the heart-necklace is? (on the horizontal picture with the two girls; especially the fifth pic from the this comment)

It would be very helpful to know it; it would be a gift!
    Thanks forward for your response!
