With a nod to music's current love for retro surf rock, the UK's high street king have put together a ' sporty, sun-bleached collection, with a laidback beach vibe' - drawing on classic film's Big Wednesday and Dogtown and Z Boys.

Topshop Unique's designers have translated vintage surf style into loose-fit sand blasted denim, fluro rubber leggings, baggy jersey, hawaiian prints, a shark motif, cropped tees, a lot of patches and worn out leather.
Half of the pieces are super wearable - the maxi dresses, comfy soft tees and loose denim in particular - but a few are far too fashionista: wetsuit dress anyone?
And I think I'll save the tight leather jackets and leather shorts for Shoreditch, rather than risk some sand-induced chafing...
