With Runway Films now RIP and a sequel to Stance looking unlikely, a UK crew - Heel Edge Projects - are thankfully keeping the all female snowboard movie flag flying.
The idea of Lynsey Ashdown, so far the crew based at the Vans Penken Park, Mayrhofen, Austria - Helen Fox, Claire Frost, Pippa Stowell and Kirsty Smith - have been busy logging footage - which resulted in one rider, Charli Witts, breaking her femur jibbing a log.
With a pile of sponsors about to be announced, it's an exciting opportunity for unknown talents to get their name - and skills on snow stick - out in the public domain.
