Jenny Jones wins X Games Europe, Tignes: third X gold medal

Bristol's blonde bombshell Jenny Jones has done it again - and nabbed herself a hat trick of gold medals at the X Games, taking first place in the women's slopestyle at the event's European debut in Tignes, France on Friday, March 12....
I could write up the contest: how overnight snowfall and poor planning had made qualifications a nightmare, how Jenny felt like she didn't really land her best run and how a fair few TTR number one contenders were struck out by contest-induced injuries.

But having not been able to make it there, I'd feel cheeky writing a plagiarised report - kinda like dancing about food. Ed Blomfield of Whitelines was there though, and with an insider's viewpoint, has written a stellar report on Jenny Jones winning X Games run on Whitelines.com.

Factory Media also did a nice job on their multimedia coverage: check out videos of Jenny on her warm up day, the finals highlights and post win interviews below. Forget those luxury-watch and designer-label sponsored skiier almost-rans: ever down-to-earth and genuine, the Billabong, Relentless, Oakley and Salomon global team rider is Britain's real snow Queen...
