The third Ladies Monthly all-female skate session rolled into Pioneer Skatepark, St Albans, at the end of May - but this time with a twist. Bored of being typecast as tomboys, Lois Pendlebury, Danni Gallacher, Danille Mellor, Georgi Winter, Helena Long and co headed into the kitchen (with a dollop of an irony) for the UK's first 'Skate & Bake.'
It worked, as fuelled by cake and intense icing-induced sugar rushes, the level of skating at the Ladies Monthly 3.0 was the most progressive and impressive yet. Watch the video from the afternoon and see more photos after the jump...
