Organisers of boutique surf trips to France, Cornwall and Moroco - from Pilates pampering weeks to hardcore surf lessons - Surf Sistas have added another string to their bow, by creating stunning retro-influenced surfboards with Newquay, Cornwall based shapers Squire...

I had the pleasure of test riding the beauty at the Relentless Boardmasters in Newquay, where, despite the lack of swell it was a really fun, easy ride - wide enough to be as stable as a 'Mal - but floats like a rocket through mush, yet loose enough to turn easily in small swell.

"The Hot Pink Fish is a collaboration between Surf Sistas and the guys at Squire Surfboards," explains Surf Sistas co-founder and leader of Chicks With Sticks, Kate Czuczman. "We want to make it easier for girls to buy beautiful custom boards at an affordable price. We're starting by offering a longboard, a mal or a fish, with a small range of gorgeous tints."
"So far The Hot Pink Fish has been traveling with us around the globe," Kate continues. "Starting in Cornwall, on to the Netherlands, down to Morocco and finally France and Spain! All the Surf Sistas on our trips get a chance to ride her, and she is developing a legendary status with her iridescent beauty and dreamy rides..."

With more vintage-inspired shapes to come, suitable for all abilities, the Surf Sistas x Squire boards promise to be the most beautiful, but affordable boards in the UK.
But be warned: a surfboard this stunning screams 'look at me' so you need to act confident with it - I had compliments and questions on the little beauty all weekend.
