Vans Classics have stared a pretty cute brand-love exercise with their 'Vans Classic Tales' crowd sourced gallery, where waffle-sole wearers share pics of their kicks and the stories behind them, for a chance to star in an upcoming campaign:
"One universal truth about Vans is that no matter who owns a pair, he or she has a great story about something that happened in those shoes. Biggest skate air ever. A concert that blew your mind. The declaration you scribbled along the sidewall...Every pair tells their own tale. What's yours?"
Fans can upload pics to the Vans microsite (vans.com/classictales), or get involved on Flickr by adding shots to the Classic Tales group and sharing their story in the caption below. Super simple, the most personal and powerful images, videos or memories will be picked to star in ads very soon - taking your Classics crush across-continents.
