The third Women in Boardsports retreat returns to Saas Fee, Switzerland

The most empowering event on the action sports calendar - the Women in Boardsports retreat from Les Ettes and Popcorn - is back for it's third year, once again in the stunning Swiss alpine resort of Saas Fee. 

From September 28 to October 2, this year adds to previous event's impressive line up with key speakers Deb Friedman (Action Sports Global Brand Manager for Nike 6.0), and Cori Schumacher (Women's World Longboard Champion and Guardian journalist) - workshops with life coaches, sports psychologists and business school professors, plus much more.

From across the globe, ladies will gather to share ideas, advice and support - away from the male dominated norm of the industry. Previous guest speakers have included Donna Carpenter - co owner of Burton Snowboards, Maritxu Darrigrand - founder and head of Roxy Europe, sports agent Circe Wallace (who's athletes include Travis Rice, Nicolas Muller and Paul Rodriguez), Olympic gold medalist Nicola Thost, plus many more leading their fields.

In addition to the key note speakers and workshops, you can also expect industry expert presentations, panel discussions with professional athletes, daily yoga, networking with like minded peers, cheese fondue and snowboarding in the heart of the Swiss Alps. 

Open to any woman working in - or interested in working in - the boardsports industry prices start from 120 swiss francs for two days - with no accommodation, 160 CHF for a hostel room, 180 CHF for a 3 star package (per person for a double room) upwards.
