Back in June I spoke to the lovely Hannah Harding - fast rising, super talented UK shortboarder - about living in Indonesia, travelling, her fast rise to fame and hooking up with the Animal Clothing family.

So, fresh from winning the Harlyn Classic and second place at the British National Surf Championships in Newquay, it was a ripe time to share the second half - on beginner surfing tips, fear, home comforts and surfers she's stoked on right now... (Read part one here >>

What are you're best tips for beginners who want to surf?

Find yourself a good surf school and coach. With surfing becoming more and more popular there are plenty around especially down here in Cornwall. And, if you are serious and really want to get the most out of your lessons I suggest getting some one-on-one coaching!

How do you get over 'The Fear'?

There'll always be niggling thoughts and fears when doing anything risky - like surfing. Heck, I still crap myself sometimes when its big! But its all about trying to put that fear into positive energy and just going for it.

Lots of times when I'm out back, and its real heavy and big, I think I shouldn't be out there, like 'What the hell am I doing?' But, that's all part of the buzz: once you take off and drop down that endless face it really gets the adrenaline going - I love it! Plus next time your out and it's a bit smaller you think nothing of it.

So, raise that bar on your comfort levels girls! If you don't go, you dont know..

Your from Padstow, Cornwall: Where would you recommend to go out, surf, eat, chill, shop locally to you?

I'm originally from Totnes, South Devon, but yeah been living just outside Padstow for about 5yrs now. Its great as there are lots of options for surf. My favourite is Constantine Bay, if that's blown out and big, then you've got Harlyn just round the corner. As well as Trevone and many many more!

Padstow is a great place to shop and with some lovely Bed and Breakfast's to stay in like Coswarth House you cant go wrong! My favourite restaurant is Rosel and Co in St Merryn - the food is incredible. I love chilling on the beach anywhere too, with a BBQ and friends, always a winner!

Which surfers have you most excited right now?

God, there are so many good surfers out there now! In the UK the girls are really raising their bar. Sarah Beardmore completely blows up and is pushing the other girls too, which is great! She's really fun to surf with and a right laugh!

Karma Worthington is another amazing chic and shreds hard - I can't believe she doesn't have a sponsor right now, potential spono's this Chica is the one to look up!
