Volcom Europe's Open Air video series, starring snowboarder Cheryl Maas, have been rad - adding personality, culture and narrative to the pro shred winter season of globetrotting, contest riding, filming and snow hunting escapades. And the fourth episode is the best yet!
For the first episode we saw Chezza getting back to her less glam roots, schralping the dry slope at her childhood home - then make party in Amsterdam before warming up in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Episode two stays in the Colorado to ride pow in Silverton - and watch Kimmy Fasani land the first ever double backflip for a female on film. (Watch and be amazed here). Then for Open Air episode three she hangs with Nitro snowboards team mate Eero Ettala to ride Helsinki's best street rails - before joining the Arctic Challenge in Oslo, via a personal invite from Terje Haakonsen himself.
But this fourth webisode is the banger - all killer, no filler with wall-to-wall Cheryl stomping tricks on the street, park and backcountry, proving why the dutch queen is possibly the best female snowboarder on the planet right now. Section of the year? Looking likely!
