Chelsea Williams wins Swatch Girls Pro China: Lindsay Steinriede is World Champ

The historical Swatch Girls Pro wrapped in Hainan Island yesterday - the first ever ASP surf contest to be held in China - with Chelsea Williams winning in Wanning, and Lindsay Steinriede taking the Womens' World Longboarding Champion title.

Carissa Moore wins wildcard to be solo woman at Vans Triple Crown of Surfing

She's beaten all the women - winning the champion's crown on the ASP World tour - so now Hawaii's Carissa Moore will take on the men, after nabbing a wildcard entry to the 2011 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing in November.

TSB World Bank NZ Womens Surf Festival

So the ASP Women's World Surfing Tour is well underway - and Sally Fitzgibbons shining so far.

The third event, the TSB World Bank NZ Women's Surf Festival threw up some surprises as legends Stephanie Gilmore and Sofia Mulanovich got knocked out early, and young guns Paige Hareb, Coco Ho and Carissa Moore coming close behind the contest winner.

Roxy Jam Biarritz 2010 longboard contest: intro & day 1 videos 1 & 2

The world's biggest longboard event - the Roxy Jam Biarritz - took place earlier this month in the beautiful basque country city, once more attracting the biggest names in women's old and new school log surfing. From Roxy pin up Kassia Meador, and 09 champion Jen Smith, to Britain's own Candice O'Donnell, local Coline Menard, Kelia Moniz, Cori Schumacher, Joy Monohan plus loads more, it was another festival of female surfing, art and music.
