And a world record attempt for girls in a hut tub.

Roxy Jam Biarritz 2010 longboard contest: intro & day 1 videos 1 & 2

The world's biggest longboard event - the Roxy Jam Biarritz - took place earlier this month in the beautiful basque country city, once more attracting the biggest names in women's old and new school log surfing. From Roxy pin up Kassia Meador, and 09 champion Jen Smith, to Britain's own Candice O'Donnell, local Coline Menard, Kelia Moniz, Cori Schumacher, Joy Monohan plus loads more, it was another festival of female surfing, art and music.

Steph Gilmore wins Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach

Three times world champion surfer Stephanie Gilmore has done it again: started the new ASP World Tour season with concurrent first places - the latest being the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach 2010, which she won on Easter Saturday.

After a tough final against her biggest rival, Peru's powerhouse Sofia Mulanovich, Steph 'Happy' Gilmore shined through to take first place and add another trophy to her rapildy bulging collection.

video: 2010 Roxy Pro Australia - semis, finals & highlights

The Roxy Pro Australia wrapped up last week on the Gold Coasts' Snapper Rocks - with Stephanie Gilmore proving unstoppable on her home point break. The waves may not have been that epic, but the surfing was still incredible - with the likes of Coco Ho, Sally Fitzgibbons, Melanie Bartels, Silvana Lima, Sofia Mulanovich and Chelsea Hedges all competing for podium places.

Steph Gilmore wins Roxy Pro Gold Coast

Can anyone stop the three-times world champion surfer and perma-smiling Stephanie Gilmore? Not yet: she's won the Roxy Pro Gold Coast, Australia for the third time, following her win in 2009, and in 2005 when she entered her hometown event as a 17-year-old wildcard.
