Roxy_surf_snow_news

The busiest brand in action sports Roxy have been on it across the globe this month; here's a list of their recent shenanigans.

Congrats to Sally Fitzgibbons; she's become the youngest - and fastest - ever male or female surfer to qualify for the ASP World tour, and so Roxy held a party in her honour at their HQ.

Surfer Carissa Moore, won the Roxy Pro Junior in Biarritz - her first ever contest in France.

Snowboarder Torah Bright has been blogging about her High Cascade Signature Session in Mount Hood and the upcoming 2008 ESPY awards.

Sun, world class surfing and awesome music: damn the Roxy Jam looked like a lot of fun this week. But the biggest smile of the whole weekend was probably worn by Carissa Moore - the 15 year old wonder kid from Oahu, Hawaii - after she won the ASP Roxy Pro Junior on Tuesday.

"I am so happy to win this event", Moore said. "It is my first time in France and it was a great event. I had some good scores and eventually won the final."

Video_roxy_jam_surf_2

To spread the word about the Roxy Jam in Biarritz from Jul 11 to 16, Roxy have made a rather nice little  video to tempt you over even more - which I've made the very first Nollie Video of the Day.

A celebration of women in surfing, art and music, the women's world champion longboarding championship will be taking place in addition a junior ASP event, so expect to see Carissa Moore, Kassia Meador and more, plus live music concerts every night. Read previous posts on the event and bands for more details.

Keep reading to see the video...
