The UK's biggest surf festival, the Relentless Boardmasters, is less than two weeks away - and we're stoked. The best event of the summer from August 3 to 5 sees the finest homegrown talent in BMX and skate head down to Newquay, Cornwall to join the surfers for a week of sessions, sun, sea and sounds - thanks to the Watergate Bay stages on Friday and Saturday.

Win tickets to see Tiësto and Pendulum at Victoria Park this summer!

Tiësto is set to return to London's Victoria Park and we're offering you the chance to join him! Tiësto will be performing on the 30th July following last year's spectacular outdoor live event and Nollie have got hold of a pair of tickets to give you and a friend the chance to experience the most exciting live show of the season. Nikita turn 10 & celebrate with coffee table book 'Sideways Sistas' on girls who ride

Iceland's Nikita clothing celebrate 10 years with a coffee table book on girls who ride

Iceland streetwear brand Nikita are celebrating their tenth anniversary in 2010 with another original marketing idea: a 200 page coffee table style book on girls who ride dubbed Sideways Sistas by local designer and editor Thordis Claessen (who created Icepick). But, in addition to the pictures and articles from Nikita's first decade, girls from across the globe are asked to submit editorial ideas - i.e. you.

You've got until April 30 to submit pictures, photos, words, drawings or anything else you want to share with fellow female riders - and the shred industry as a whole. This is also a chance to get your talent spotted.

hurry: deadline looming for Volcom's 'Photo Tee' Spring 2010 competition

If you're a budding pro-photographer, or play with film for fun keep reading: Volcom are looking for three stunning images to adorn their 'Photo Tee' collection for the Spring 2010 girl's line - with a year's worth of tee shirts and a chance to exhibit as a prize. But get your skates on: deadline is February 28, 2009.

Entry is easy - just submit your details and your chosen pic to the Volcom website, then wait for the winning three shots to be chosen. Be warned though, the standard of entries is damn high already so competition will be tough. Keep reading to see some already submitted and further details.
