Ebay auctions now on for Billabong's Design For Humanity
Have Billabong pulled off the most star studded surf event ever? Well going by the crazy positive response to their Design For Humanity surf, fashion, art and music celeb fest, on June 4, I sure think so.
To a soundtrack of MGMT, Australian singer/songwriter Ashleigh Mannix and DJ about town Steve Aoki, the A list likes of Mischa Barton, Adrian Grenier, Jason Biggs, Juliette Lewis and John Legend rubbd shoulder's with action sports finest - including snowboarders Tara Dakides and Jamie Anderson, plus surf stars Keala Kennelly and Sanoe Lake, all there to raise money for charity and celebrate surf culture.

Kids snow book sparks debate!
Titles Jake Burton Carpenter and the Snowboard by Michael O'Hearn, published by Graphic Library, the book is one of a series called Inventions and Discovery - with other titles including George Eastman and the Kodak Camera; Thomas Edison and the Lightbulb; and more.
'A fictional account of snowboarding history' a review on Amazon.com says an 'afterword acknowledges that no one knows who invented the first snowboard.'

eBay Watch: SCUK Hoffinator Snowboard
Back in October at the Metro Ski and Snowboard show Snowboard Club UK gave away a one of a kind 'Hoffinator' snowboard. Unfortunately the winner was too much of a midget (his words not mine) to ride this 159cm model, so the Hoff is once again up for grabs on eBay. The twin tip board is made by React and currently at £50 with no bids.
