From January 8 to 10, global female pro snowboarders will be shredding the night park in
Saalbach Hinterglem for the jam's seventh edition. It's a big change from the glacier location of
Kaprun, Austria of recent years - which, with the event being held early season often suffered from lack of snow or high winds, and the high altitude meant spectator numbers were often small - this year the park is just 200 metres away from the village.

It's here!! After a whole summer of anticipation, Jenna Selby's tour de force - Europe's first all female skate film
As If, And What? - is finally available to buy. Just in time for those last minute (or belated?) Christmas present requests.
I went to the
premiere in London a few weeks ago and the standard of riding is insane - London teenagers
Sam Bruce and
Helena Long both stand out with their fearlessness, style and looking like they're absolutely loving it 24/7. UK legend,
Lucy Adams easily sticks the most incredible part of the film too - showing what professionalism, focus, skill and determination can achieve with the best part ever laid to film by a European rider.
There's so many highlights: Sue Hazel's appearance from retirement is brilliant - all old school street skating, vintage competition footage and retro mini ramp sessions. There's also some huge and incredible vert ramp aerial skills - accompanied with a huge grin, tonnes of stylish street sections and some British comedy moments to match.
Keep reading to watch the first section teaser and for info on how to buy..

Breckenridge stop last night, fresh from twitter (thanks to
@
leannepelosi, @
fueltv, @
ChanelleSladics, and @
susiefloros), but
thought some details would be much meatier.
The facts you probably know:
Jamie Anderson won the Slopestyle,
followed by super positive Czech star
Sarka Pancochova, and Britain's own
Jenny Jones.

As If, And What, the first UK all-women skate scene film, is almost ready! The brain child of
Rogue Skateboards owner
Jenna Selby, the multi-talented legend has been working her fingers to the bone filming, riding, compiling footage and editing (with the same output as a team of 10) for the last six months. And finally, the fruit of her labour will be showing to the public very soon...

The UK's biggest snowsports and music festival is back for 2009, as Freeze returns to London's Battersea Power Station from today until Sunday November 1. In it's second year, the 2009 event once more hosts a stop of the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, and International Freeski competition, as well as the snowboard-only Battle Of Britain today. Each evening then continues with a massive music line up, in addition to the apres bars, parties and retail village set up to give Battersea it's own mini ski resort - kicking off the evening with the TUACA Off-Piste DJ battle at the Canadian alcohol brand's own bar, as three snowboarder-cum-turntablists tussle it out for the best tunes.
