Runway & Pirates premiere party in Portland, Oregon
Is Portland the coolest place on the planet right now? I've not been myself but whispers from wise sources it is so. Which may explain why the Pirates and Runway Films double billed premiere in the Oregon city looks like it was off the hook. Organised by the nice blokes at Bonfire Snowboarding, two of this season's sickest shred flicks were shown to local snow lovers to much applause and appreciation.
I wish I was there, but I wasn't: so instead here's the report from the Bonfire themselves...

BLOG: Volcom skater Lynz Adams Hawkins' So Cal snow and skate trip
One of the best female skateboarders in the world, Volcom girl's Lynz Adams Hawkins is also a pretty talented snowboarder. She's just released a blog and photo gallery on Volcom.com about an epic trip from San Diego to Buttermilk, skiing for the first time, exploring the snow on sleds, then flying back to LAX to glam it up for a Women's Sports Foundation shindig. Then she's straight off to Las Vegas for another industry gig and skate, finally ending her post on an awesome snowboard trip to Mammoth. Phew!

Happy Belated Earth Day! Loads of green links...
Ok, so it may have been two days ago, on April 22, but Earth Day 2008 - an annual 24 hours set aside to appreciate and be inspired by our enviornment - was still the biggest in history.
