Green bags made of recycled skateboards?
It's not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking swanky style, but apparently that old skateboard deck could make a rather fetching fashion accessory.
Pointed out by our sister Shiny Media site TheBagLady.TV, these recycled wood clutches are all one-of-a-kinds, complete with scuff marks. Made by Beth Hickey of Beck(y) New York City, her collection also includes earrings, tote bags, iPod covers, belt buckles and more. Love it!

Steph Gilmore strong for Round 3 of Roxy Pro
After a fiery Round 1, where reigning ASP Women's World Champion Stephanie Gilmore was on electric form, the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast, presented by LG, will take a lay day today due to small surf over at the main site at Snapper Rocks and nearby Duranbah Beach in Coolangatta, Australia.
