If you've not noticed already, I love scarves - keeping your jugular warm is the easiest way to making sure the rest of your blood is toasty, especially in sub zero snow temperatures.
But, there's a serious lack of suitable products or accessories available to
snowboarders to keep your neck in check without getting frozen (thanks cotton) or sweaty (cheers to acrylic) - until
Clast was born...

I earmarked
Modern Collective as one of the best films of 2009, and now Kai Neville's masterpiece has proved itself even more - by winning the
Best Core Film award at the 10th X-Dance action sports film festival. Incredibly progressive, both in production values and action,
Modern Collective beat snowboard flicks
Black Winter,
Stance and
The B Movie to the gong.
Currently screening the film across the southern hemisphere, they've also released a super limited line of tee shirts to celebrate the release - making just fifty each. And, in true Neville style, there's a slick artsy online promo, complete with hot semi naked model, to promote them.

Strangely London feels colder than the mountains right now, (grey clouds and pollution equalling a lack of sun I reckon) so I've been under several layers, gloves, hats and scarves for months. But my cheapy gloves are knackered, and nothing matches. The solution? Make my own all-in-one thanks to this genius scarf-hat thanks to Craft's free pattern podcasts.

After the fashion, music and surf charity spectacular that was
Design For Humanity,
Billabong have followed up with a limited swimwear collection to launch their first ever runway collection.
Like the items sold from last autumn's live LA event, proceeds from the four
Runway by Billabong pieces will go towards the organisation
charity:water. Pretty edgy compared to
Billabong's usual safer surf chic, they've incited a love or loathe reaction: see Jordan, Ashbury, Aaliyah and Kayla after the jump to make your own mind up...

It's taken three years, but Parisian club culture princess Uffie has a new single - the awesome electro / breakbeat soundclash MCs Can Kiss. Out today, it's a taster for the 22-year-old's first full-length album Sex Dreams and Tight Jeans, out next month on Ed Banger Records - including a duet with Pharrell Williams no less.

Happy Australia Day! Ok, a little late maybe, but the national holiday to celebrate all things antipodean is the perfect excuse to sing the praises of the latest collection from
Nollie's favourite label:
Something Else - now available at
Urban Outfitters.
The personal project of
Insight Creative Director
Natalie Wood,
Something Else is still surf inspired - but absorbs fashion, art, nature and music influences to birth beautiful yet edgy, wearable threads.
