Out today, March 2, is Surfing magazine's annual Swimsuit issue - a supplement packed with ladies, but models posing in their bikinis rather than any actual wave riding women. Photographed by a woman - herself in a bikini? - the publication has me torn...

The days are longer, the wind's bite isn't so harsh, and the sun's is a more familiar site: spring's almost here - and with it lighter threads, fresh trends and new season lookbooks.
Although the luxury printed catalogue may be a thing of the past:
Billabong are the latest brand to release their 'lookbook' as an online video - packed with their stunning
Design For Humanity Runway swimwear, distressed denim, african prints and loose vests... Like.

I've never seen anything like it on the beach, but
Topshop Unique's spring summer 2010 collection -
out now - is influenced by 70s West Coast US surf culture.
With a nod to music's current love for
retro surf rock, the UK's high street king have put together a ' sporty, sun-bleached collection, with a laidback beach vibe' - drawing on classic film's
Big Wednesday and
Dogtown and Z Boys.
